Members, please advertise any user tournaments that you organize in this forum. I note already that kpato has organized many EOW (End of the World) tournaments for most games, but those don’t start until the world ends (Dec. 21, 2012). Meanwhile, there are many tournaments to be played!
I will start this forum out with a tournament that will start on Jan. 1, 2012 but may never end if the world ends when predicted...
The third annual Einstein Marathon, Einstein Marathon 2012, begins January 1, 2012, double round robin, 7 point matches!

I think we should vote on when the world will end. My prediction is December 21, 2012 plus a couple of million years plus the number I first thought of. (But I’m going to keep that a secret, if that’s okay with everybody.)

Hi, Sither Addicts, a championship will start on 20th (that is tomorrow for most civilians on earth). The size is 13 × 13. We hope to continue to organize this tournament on a regular basis. A typical game will start with mild squeezing, bumping, poking, and blocking first. Then, this mildness will eventually turn into strangling, suffocating, and death! But, regardless, there will be no blood splashing as Go games lead to.
Slither is like a mule, an offspring of male donkeys and female horses. It is a mixture of Go and Hex, both of which many players love dearly. Unlike mules who are mostly infertile, however, Slither players are very energetic and fertile. :)

@Tommah: New proposition – Pi EWN Series: every month start a new drr EWN tourn. First month a 3-points EWN tourney; second month a 1-point EWN tourney; third month a 4-points EWN tourney and so on, following the base 10 representation of pi (when a 0 occurs, let’s play a 10-points EWN tourn). Proposed start date: March 14 (Pi day and also Dr. Einstein birthday), starting next tournaments every 14th day
