(additional comments:
\ it should become a rule that a single player does
not contribute two steps in row;
\ returning to some expression that we had already
does not stop the game; we had this already with
“down under”;
\* additional comments should always be put in brackets
to keep clear that they are not part of the expression
Have fun !)
(most continental europeans will now home run better than 'hit 'em for six' or even 'touch down' better than 'try' while only in a try you have to 'touch' the ball actually 'down' :-) <- not a closing bracket! )
(unique might have used some translation rule: let's officiallt state here that it is NOT ALLOWED TO TRANSLATE THE WORD THAT IS COMMON BETWEEN THE TWO PHRASES).
(@MarleysGhost maybe you would like to suggest a scoring system, would seem a little subjective. It was mainly designed to see who could come up with 'clever' two word phrases)
@Strange Yeah: I'm afraid you are confusing this thread with the word association thread. Let's start again with “table spoon”. (I seem to have a block: the only thing I can think of is Lovin' spoonful, but that's also not allowed)
Extreme makeover was canceled. My favorite episode was when they took a fat ugly hillbilly and turned him into a suave movie star. Then he went back home to his ugly fat hillbilly wife and wondered whether or not to still stay with her.
Phil Bloom She was the first person to appear naked on Dutch television in the “summer of love” (that most of you missed, but I certainly didn't :)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Bloom
(By the way - in the interests of elegance I think there should be a rule that you can't drop the element added on the preceding player's turn. In other words, that any given element always appears exactly twice consecutively.)
