Workshop on Neural Nets in Games
  • Ingo Althofer at 2016-02-13

    Hello,

from June 27 to July 03, the Computer Olympiad 2016 takes place in Leiden. The program includes several games that are played here on LG (including Go, Breakthrough, Amazons, Chess, Connect6, EinStein-w-n, …). Alongside is a conference “Computers and Games 2016” (deadline for papers is now March 01), and a special informal workshop “Neural Nets in Games”.

The most relevant paragraph in there is:

The publication policy of the workshop is aimed at attracting

novel ideas and early work, to foster discussion among the

participants. The copyright of the papers will remain with the authors.

Papers will be disseminated informally, and will be uploaded to arXiv.

There will be no formal scientific publication of proceedings, so

authors are free to publish (versions of) their work later at regular

conferences or journal. (This is in contrast to the policy of CG2016,

which is a formal refereed publication with copyright transferral, and

    an earlier submission deadline.)

Short papers of 2 to 6 pages are preferred. The maximum length is 8 pages.

Deadline for this workshop is May 01, 2016. Notification date of acceptance is May 10.

You are invited to contribute and to participate.

    Cheers, Ingo.
