Someday, perhaps when I'm a retired old feline, I'd like to visit this tournament; perhaps play in the open section (if they have one), spectate, see the steel mill, etc. Oh well, probably a pipe dream.
Unusually, this year I've heard of practically NOBODY in section C, and maybe half of section B. I'm thinking that they have changed a bunch of the conditions, such as monetary compensation, invite rules, etc.
I won't make any picks in section A, but I'm hoping that Hou Yifan manages a few good games and also learns a lot from these players.
