Has noone noticed the fact that either some human in Egypt is either very very bored, or has an out-of-control bot which signs up for games under half a dozen aliases which then play each other and mostly draw or resign immediately?

Probably not a bot, but an attempt to boost the rating of Mr. Saad.

Nothing much to worry about. Everybody who meet Mr. Saad will benefit from him being overrated and will have the possibility to gain some extra points themselves:)

I noticed it several months ago, and didn't raise the point because

1. He didn't seem to be manipulating tournaments for the advantage of any particular ID.
2. I was not quite 100% sure that they weren't differnt players (cousins, or whatever).

What this does, the allowing of Saad to play himself and only himself in tournaments is to allow him to win tournaments to place his name high on the tournament winners list. A minor point, to be sure, compared to the following: In the Monthly Cup it is reasonable to believe that eventually he under his many names will be all placed in the same section, thereby allowing all the names to advance to the third and the one-move draws, and likely, final round. Under the right circumstances, he could win a Monthly Cup.

Well predicted (not that it was hard to predict), as we see that the July MC.2 is now well underway with 3 apparent cheats in it.
