LOA forum: two questions

two questions 2009-12-17 kingofthebesI Only just found out there was a LOA forum :) Does scrambled and normal LOA have separate rating? How do you feel about different board sizes for LOA, maybe 9x9 10x10 and 11x11? 2009-12-17 Carroll ★ For the time being, the ratings for the different varaints are mixed up. No I don’t think LOA needs a larger board, it is already extremely complex when there are say 8 Black and 8 White on a 8x8 board, and the game length seems right to me. 2009-12-17 kingofthebesI Thanks for the quick reply. Doesn’t need a larger board, but they could be interesting variants. Don’t see 9x9 being that much slower, if at all. There is different board sizes for go and go 13x13 and go 19x19 are way more complex than LOA. Plus the larger the board the more time the game will remained unsolved.
