That one player would be me? I was not aware that I signed up
for this tournament. Perhaps I misclicked, or there’s some bug in the system.
Resigning early keeps the ratings unchanged, so I thought that’s the easiest way
to fix this, without inconveniencing the other players too much.

This tournament started on January 1. We just finished the first round! (11 months exactly!) Round two began today (Dec. 1) My game with Roy78 was the last game to finish, 203 moves... There were several games that lasted more than that. The record is 252 moves!! (Nagy Fathy beat CleverHunk)

Thank you Aganju and idiot for offering to set up a new one! I too am not a member right now, so I can’t set it up. So Aganju, that would be great if you could set up a new one! I think a good one to set up would be the same as it was set up last year (normal variation, 7 game match, ideally starting on January 1 again!, no password) Thanks...Of course, you may set it up any way you like...Or maybe you could set up two (a normal and a black hole marathon!)

why are so many intense players not members? Do you think the price is to high? Or is it to cumbersome?
I think this is the cheapest fun you can buy, I play 4-6 hours a day * 365 days for ~25$, that’s only 1.4 cent per hour of play!?
Or you could see it as 7 cents per day all-you-can-play! ;-)

Formally, although it won’t happens in any of RoRoRo’s simulations, blargdragon can still be the champion for this tournament: with 11 games to go, he can reach 22 points, against yper’s 20. (I also don’t believe that will happen, so congrats yper!)

Marius, you are right, as of the time of roro’s last post, blargdragon had a mathematical chance. He has since lost three more, so now ypercube’s first place is clinched. Interesting that roro did not post the updated predictions. I believe that when one player shows 100% p(win) then roro stops posting, but in this case, it was NOT a 100% chance of winning mathematically (only by “simulation”). This is a minor bug with roro’s predictions. (roro should be smart enough to determine if a player has mathematically clinched or not. If the player has not clinched, perhaps it should only show 99.9% instead of 100% (and show the long-shot at 0.01%)
