Reply to this topic Return to forumHello,
several players will have realized already that
a new type of EinStein player has come to LG:
fraggle_c is a computer program, designed and
operated by Ingo Schwab (alias “Ingo S”).
Three comments in this context:
(i) fraggle_c is currently one of the strongest
programs for EinStein.
(ii) Computers are NOT unbeatable in EinStein.
Probably the best computer program is
“MeinStein”, written by Theo van der Storm.
MeinStein is almost as strong as the best human
player (LuiseR). On inetplay MeinStein lost a
legendary 161-game match with Luiser narrowly by
77-84.
(iii) You can downolad a free strong EinStein program,
“Hanfried” written by Dr. Jorg Sameith from Jena
University. Find the download site by using google
with
einstein hanfried
(This download version is good for training games,
but it can not help you to analyse game positions.)

One from our Golem family just told me that he was
unable to connect to Hanfried download.
I forgot that just in these days the computer center
at our Faculty (math and comp. science) at Jena
University makes internal restructering. So,
you have to wait a few days.
Sorry for the inconveniences.

The strong program “Hanfried” by Dr. Joerg
Sameith for playing “EinStein wurfelt nicht” may
