It seems that this big problem is solved in an interesting way. Players do not choose the expression anymore, but it is automatically generated in a way that only Richard knows. We do not have repeat for more than 60 games.

This was a main reason for many players to stop playing Empathy.  There is no more excuse for them to not play. It will be very interesting to see many players from a past to play again. This is a call for them all - play again.

There were 13 games played 3 times and 2 games (blue, silver) played 4 times.

Now WORD for game is chosen from popular answer and never used words.

But it is not probably best solution.

Any solution isn't ideal, but this solution is much, much, much better than before. Repeated topic just kill Empathy.  I hope that now number of players will increase.

Unfortunately, not everything is as nice as it looked. Still we have repetiton in the last 60 games. :(

First there are two expressions that can be easily eliminated:

1051Color=86Colors1071Planet=247Planets

Richard already have algorithm for plurals and singulars.

Then there are two almost repeat:

1047Stars=470Stars in the Sky1053Day=96Days of the week

They are a little bit more complicated to eliminate, but it is possible to eliminate them automaticaly.

And finaly there is hardest one:

1078America=1041USA

This is nearly impossible to automatically eliminate.

Perhaps there is more repetition, but finding them requires a lot of manual work.

Looks like we still have to live with some repetition. :(

I don't see America and USA as repetitions.

When you compare result for these two games, you will see that they are very similar. By copying top answers from one game you can get good score in other. This is almost repeat.
