does anyone know of the dual game to hex? it might help analysing the game…I play dots and boxes and alot of results in that game come from looking at the dual game which is called strings and coins…i've been looking for a dual game for hex, couldn't find it…lol maybe an idea for richard…

Hex is a special case of what is called a Shannon Switching Network, see Cameron Browne, Hex Strategy pages 8 to 13. Also, Hex is possible with many differently shaped boards and differently shaped surfaces and/or shapes, see Browne, Chapter 2.
