Out of the running again

The current Hex championship has had quite a lot of fireworks so far. I got crunchulated by both Frode and Leoni. I don't mind losing so much, since they both played excellently, holding onto an advantage from early in the game, as far as I can tell. I notice both Frode and John Tromp have no losses yet.

Did you see poor Garry Kasparov on ESN2 yesterday? He played his little heart out attacking X3D Fritz and then at the end made an “all-to-human” oversight, Fritz pounced like a bandit, and now the champ is down 1/2 to 1+1/2 in the first televised match since Fischer/Spassky.

Dave, if an advantage against you doesn't come early on, it sure doesn't come any other time.

Ha! Good one! I certainly agree with that!
