In Go, ladders are pretty simple to analyze usually. They just go in one direction and then run into something.

In Hex, on the other hand, ladders twist, turn, and even split rather frequently. How exactly do you calculate who wins a ladder in Hex?

In Hex it is even easier than in Go, the guy who's defending gonna lose :D
