The 11x11 tournament still has the same schedule, 2:30 pm London time on 20 August. That's a Thursday.

The 14x14 tournament has changed FROM 7:30 pm London time on 30 August TO 2:30 pm London time 29 August. That's a Saturday. Sorry hypercube, you will have to register again, although registration is not open yet as of this post.

SORRY! I should have said, 3:30 pm London time 39 August  is the new time slot for the 14x14 tournament.

I couldn't sign up for the tournament, being a new BGA member.

You have to play some games, it is just bga functionality. We can't do anything with that.

Also rating will be taken into account in pairing.

It's also a good idea to play some games to get used to the interface and the inverted board

Playing a couple of games at BGA comes at a risk of discouraging from enrolling to the MSO though
