Does anyone own an Android tablet and can comment on this?

A quick perusal of the source code reveals that it uses t1j's AI.

I have the Samsung 10.1 tab. I have never seen this app, but am willing to give it a try.

Its an alright app. I like it mostly for the two player option, nice to have a portable board with you at all times.
