Championship 38
  • jds at 2014-11-08

    Congratulations to David, Florian and Maciej for winning championship 38!  The first tie since 2004!

    And thanks for the commentaries on the three games that caused the tie; good reading with the morning coffee.

  • Florian Jamain at 2014-11-11

    Thanks jds.

    A nice championship, some really nice games has been played, not only between the 3 winners.

    The super table from all games in all 38 LG-championships so far: We have

    #PLAYERS 75#GAMES 1626#MOVES 42139#DRAWS 5

    and we can order the player by different measures. The most obvious one is by achieved points, the top ten in that list is

    * * * BY POINTS[  1] David J Bush ★ (375/273, 28747, 1.37363)[  2] Klaus Hußmanns (314/230, 30238, 1.36522)[  3] spd_iv (285/193, 29155, 1.47668)[  4] Maciej Celuch (270/164, 34440, 1.64634)[  5] Alan Hensel (145/115, 19885, 1.26087)[  6] Steven (140/166, 8110, 0.843373)[  7] tasuki (131/132, 14889, 0.992424)[  8] Csaba Nagy (122/108, 14586, 1.12963)[  9] Gyorgy Csizmadia (90/52, 13568, 1.73077)[ 10] Florian Jamain ★ (68/40, 4952, 1.7)

    So our three champions are on that list. David got the most first league points and he for sure will keep the lead for a while.

    The next order is by the ratio of achieved points vs number of games

    * * * BY RATIO[  1] Mate (18/10, 2602, 1.8)[  2] Pit (52/30, 3880, 1.73333)[  3] Gyorgy Csizmadia (90/52, 13568, 1.73077)[  4] Florian Jamain ★ (68/40, 4952, 1.7)[  5] Thierry Pertuy (42/25, 4006, 1.68)[  6] Maciej Celuch (270/164, 34440, 1.64634)[  7] Tim Shih ★ (14/9, 1952, 1.55556), korubko (42/27, 5376, 1.55556)[  9] spd_iv (285/193, 29155, 1.47668)[ 10] David J Bush ★ (375/273, 28747, 1.37363)

    Here we have some player that stopped playing after a while but our three champions are on that list too. Florian is more efficient than Maciej (it is easier to win against Maciej :)) but not as efficient as Gyorgy and David still is in the top ten of that list. Is is easier for Florian to improve on that list because he has less games than Maciej or David.

    The last order is by Son

    [  1] Maciej Celuch (270/164, 34440, 1.64634)[  2] Klaus Hußmanns (314/230, 30238, 1.36522)[  3] spd_iv (285/193, 29155, 1.47668)[  4] David J Bush ★ (375/273, 28747, 1.37363)[  5] Alan Hensel (145/115, 19885, 1.26087)[  6] tasuki (131/132, 14889, 0.992424)[  7] Csaba Nagy (122/108, 14586, 1.12963)[  8] Gyorgy Csizmadia (90/52, 13568, 1.73077)[  9] Steven (140/166, 8110, 0.843373)[ 10] maraca (54/49, 7866, 1.10204)...[ 13] Florian Jamain ★ (68/40, 4952, 1.7)

    where Maciej is on the top, he beats the strong players!

    You can build you on super tables (not only for Twixt but for all LG games and also for sub-sets of championships) using the software in

    “it is easier to win against Maciej”, hum, this super table seems quite interesting :P

  • David J Bush ★ at 2014-11-12

    Thank you Mirko, for finding a stastistical measure by which I come out on top. Congratulations to my co-winners. Florian worked amazingly hard. I would like to invite Florian and Maciej to play me in real time on “Game Center”:http://www.iggamecenter.com/ if we can find a time to meet. Maybe we could have an informal play-off. Anyone else is welcome to play also.
