    so,

i have restored the database, no games lost. i just played (and lost) against zandor.

The forum is not online yet. and the games played are not (yet) available for download.

    have fun !!

16 games played yesterday, all of them with Zandor

he has reached 2001 and a 35 consecutive wins.

David, its time to do something :)

I like the new board, but it would be nice to make the colors customizable. I'd love to have it the same colors as on LG.

  • Philippe Van Schendel at 2005-03-08

the colors are already customizable :) for many months :)

    cheers

New 2.0.1 version of k2zwin32 client is available for download

    new features are:

\* bigger peg and scalable with board resize.

\* players are displayed inactive after 5 minutes (in the player list icone is dash dotted) as soon as you chat or interact with a game the icon resume to normal.

\* right click on the player name in the player list, there is a 'get player info' item menu, then you get player country and email adress, and idle duration.

as a reminder: right click on a board game window, there is a popup menu. from there you can change player colors, and view/hide grid lines, corner lines and coordinates.

as well you can analyse the game when its just over.

    enjoy

    Philippe,

The other day I needed link removal in a game I played but your link to the link removal page in your online help does not work. Maybe you could explain here?

    Thanks

  • Philippe Van Schendel at 2005-03-14

oh yes…. i wrote a long article in the forum to explain link removal.

but after the root hack attack, i decided to not run the php forum, i suspect there are security flaw in it.

so either i put the forum back online (i can try) or write

a normal html help page about link removal.

    i'll let you know

Click on the middle of any link of yours on the board, and it will become highlighted in yellow. Click on any peg of yours already on the board, and all new legal links which may be added to it (including those which cross links marked for deletion) will show a yellow highlight. Click on a vacant hole to place your peg, and all the indicated link changes will be made, plus all legal links will be added to the new peg.

here is a html page that explains link removal with k2z windows client
