I found several bugs and I get a lot of enhancements from players. If you find any bug or you have some idea for betterment of this web, write it to this forum.

Most important for me: email notification, better player list (with rating)
-
fathawk at 2002-03-13
Maybe I just haven't found it but is there a place to see a list of other players registered on the server? How do I invite someone to play a game if I don't know who is a player?

Luka's~ at 2002-03-14
What I miss here :
P1 - I'd like to see progress in others games in tournament that I'm attending - maybe Tournament should be a link in My Games ?P2 - I want to know more about others players e.g. which game they won/lost, etc.
- There could be displayed more info about Player (Main->List of players->choose player) like sex, nationality, …P3 - there shouldn't be displayed *null* when game is in no tournament. There should be better message displayed(*No tournament* or
P5 - names and orders of columns are confusing ;)
-
Luka's~ at 2002-03-14
“Short info” isn't refreshed immediately after login.
It'd be nice if numbers of “Your games” in “Short info” were hyperlinks
-
Luka's~ at 2002-03-14
Ooops, 'register' link from News (2002-03-13 06:16] Little Golem Championship - Go 9x9) doesn't work for me… I receive some 'Apache Tomcat/4.0.3 - Error report'
-
Steve Rich at 2002-03-16
I would also like to have e-mail notification when it is my turn to play at Little Golem. Since IYT and Dragon both send me an e-mail letting me know when it is my turn to play, I have gotten into the habit of not checking those server unless I get an e-mail letting me know it is my turn to play. Since I am not getting e-mails from Golem, I forget to check here.
Rio, you are off to a nice start here at Golem…keep up the good work.
-
Hjallti at 2002-03-18
You should do something about people who don't enter a country…. They get 'null' now
-
Richard Malaschitz ★ at 2002-03-18
Email notification - I have software done, but I am waiting for my Internet Provider - they have problems with configure sendmail for this web.
-
Luka's~ at 2002-03-22
Nice to see how quickly are bugs resolved. Good work, Rio ;) Could the email notification be more configurable ? Like notify me only once a day, after a opponent move, after X hours, etc…
-
Luka's~ at 2002-03-22
1, where can I see my finished unrated games ? Do I have to remember their numbers ? ;) 2, There could be more options to invite somebody - like 2-rounds etc… 3, When there is a message from system there should not be a link Respond to SYSTEM - it does nothing in any case ;)
-
Mojmir Hanes ★ at 2002-06-05
Hi Richard,
I think it would be nice when printing/showing all games for particular player print (chess) diagrams regarding players color, i.e. for chess games where I am black print white stones at top and black at bottom.
Thanks, Miuek

One improvment I would like to see is the possibility
to play via email. It's painfull slow (not to mention
expensive) to surf on a laptop with a cellar phone
modem. -

in the main forum on one of the topic pages, when i reply by filling in the box underneath the messages and then submit my post, i always end up here (instead of on the page for the topic i have posted to) - i am still looking for another way to reach this Bugs forum :)

Email address (public email) is wrong
I have tried all my 3 e-mail boxes.. What is wrong in a public e-mail ? :>

Thanks for fixing the Forum archive bug!
I would really like to see a PREVIEW SCREEN for messages and posts. I like to put html tags in my messages, and I would like to see if it comes out right before I post it.
Also, much less important, for those games which have text records of each game in SGF format, it would be great if you could conform to standard SGF some day:
\* Put the RE property in the first node of all games which have finished. This is particularly helpful for games which forfeited on time. For example, use RE[B+Time] if Black won on time, RE[W+Resign] if black resigned, RE[B+] if black won by achieving the object of the game, or RE[Draw] if the game was drawn.
\* In Hex, “swap” should be “swap-pieces,” and in Twixt it should be “swap-firstpeg.” Also for Hex and Twixt, each move should be in letter-number format, not letter-letter. This is different from Go SGF.
\* Put GM[11] in the first node of each Hex game.
\* Put GM[21] and RU[PP] in the first node of each Twixt game. If someday, God willing, you do change the Twixt rules back to standard, it will be important to distinguish PP game from STD games. What a mess…
Thanks for you patience!

Here are a few bugfixes/improvements I'd like to see:
- The no name players - If they haven't entered anything in the Real Name field, show their login-names, like it did before.
- To add rating range as a search option on the list of players, that is in combination with searching a specific game.
- Rating tournaments are added to the new games.
- Option for players to agree on different time limits for non-tournament games (i.e. 1 day, 7 days, 30 days)
- Option for rated and unrated non-tournament games, both in waiting room and game invitations.
-

-
Iluvatar at 2006-03-19
Gregorio, you're quite right, it's a while since I played Go. I forgot about the prisoners.
-
Alan Hensel at 2006-03-19
Not to repeat anyone else's requests, I'd like to see:
- A page showing the latest completed games of a particular game type, sorted by time completed, with a link to the game. It's already possible to follow a game move-by-move, but I'd like to have an orderly way of discovering the latest interesting games to look at.
- When showing ratings, also show win expectancies. Sometimes it is nice to know the magnitude of one player's advantage. Just showing two ratings does not make that clear.
- Use Ajax technology to make games more instantaneously responsive.
- The game of “Hive”.
-
bennok at 2006-03-20
I agree with iluvatar that a VISUAL display of captured pieces in go would be nice.
Let me explain why: I often get mixed up with the simple count of white and black prisoners, because WHITE stones actually count as points for BLACK.
In the final count the white prisoners (white stones) in the display are suddenly being called “black prisoners” (points for black). Displaying the captured stones would be a way of avoiding the confusion.
But anything less confusing than: “Prisoners (Black/White): 0/1” would be fine.
For example instead of:
Komi: 5.5
Prisoners (Black/White): 0/1
a table like this:
BlackWhiteKomi-5.5Prisonners1
0
Total points05.5
-
bennok at 2006-03-20
Oh the html is not so clean, and the total is wrong. But you got the idea right? :)
-
Iluvatar at 2006-03-20
I see your point. Let's say black has taken his first prisoner from white, that would be a proper way to display the number “1” together with the white stone.
-
goofball38 at 2006-03-27
Ok under a player, it says last time connected was
Lastconnect: 2006-03-21 22:09
It says that on all the players I look at. I think it is stuck on March 21st. I just use it to see when my friends were last on and its not working. :(

Hello. Just want you to read my message here http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/forum/topic2.jsp?forum=70&topic=43
Draw offering is really necessary in such games as connect6 and gomoku.
Thanks.
-
ypercube ★ at 2006-05-11
I agree but draw offer should be possible after a certain number of moves. Otherwise, we'll see draw offers from the 6th move and then we'll have another great discussion about ratings and manipulation!
-
-
Andrey at 2006-05-11
Yes, it will be good to add such option like statistic quiries. To know how many times you played agaist concret player, statistics of that games(how many losses, wins), etc. So it will be good if LG will power their statistic abilities.

Minor cosmetic feature requests:
Make more references to someones name be a link to their player page (so no need for the tiny 'info' link for example.
Make more references to a game be a link to that game's main page.
I find my navigation round the site is slowed because I see shortcuts that would make things quicker and slicker.
-
FatPhil at 2007-01-09
Minor Einstein feature request:
Be able to resign a board, without resigning the whole game. Sometimes it's obvious you'll lose a board, and you want to move to the next one immediately.

In office, we play little golem on the network ; since the install of the new internet explorer the images of the chess games aren't what they used to be ; we don't see any difference between the blue or the white boxes ; the colors of the pieces are blue and white ; background yellow ?
Can you do anything about it ; it's really enoying !

Street Soccer Bug.
If you look at the game history, including the current state if it's your opponents turn, then the icon for the die sometimes does not correspond to the actual roll for that move.
Here's a game selected entirely at random, and you can see, it's pretty b0rked:
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=29
Again, it shows a 2, but the move was a 3.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=30
Showing a 1, but the move was a 3.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=33
Showing a 6 but the move was a 5.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=34
Showing a 4 but the move was a 2.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=35
Showing a 3 but the move was a 5.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=44
Showing a 6 but the move was a 5.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=45
Showing a 2 but the move was a 3.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=48
Showing a 2 but the move was a 4.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=49
Showing a 1 but the move was a 4.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=52
Showing a 3 but the move was a 5.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=53
Showing a 1 but the move was a 5.
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=639043&nmove=55
Showing a 4 but the move was a 6.
I.e. it's garbage for over 20% of the moves.
Also there seems to be some confusion - is the die supposed to represent the roll just moved, or the roll that's about to be moved? In the history, it seems to mostly be the roll just moved (apart from the bug I mention), but if you move to the most recent move, then it displays the roll about to be moved. This is inconsistent, and seems poorly thought out.
-
Hjallti at 2007-01-29
'poorly thought out' means 'I would have done a differently and have good reasons', but nothing else I guess …
Fat Phil, could you give the url of your gamesite? I want to see a great gamesite without any feature that can be declared 'poorly thought out' when someone thinks he might have done otherwise if he did it.
-
Dvd Avins at 2007-01-29
“poorly thought out” means not only what you said, but requires (when used reasonably) that the user is pretty sure that the designer would agree with him if the designer had fully considered it.
In this case, I'd say FatPhil is right, regardless of whether he has, or even could, make a better web site. LG is very good; you don't have to pretend it's perfect in order to enjoy it.
-
FatPhil at 2007-01-29
Hjallti - Do not selectively quote sections of sentences. I said “seems poorly thought out”, not just “poorly thought out”. I see a logical inconsistency which I would not have designed in, and, if I may create a false dichotomy, either:
a) it was deliberately designed that way after much thought; or
b) it is simply unintentionally that way after not giving it too much thought.
Much about the site is logical, and well designed, which makes me think that it's (b) rather than (a). If you think I'm wrong, are you asserting that you think that it was deliberately designed to be inconsistent?
Saying that only those who have done better can criticise is utterly fallacious, and warrants no further response.
LG is easily the best game site I've ever seen, the others don't even come close to the speed, usability, and unclutteredness. It's just a shame that it seems to have stagnated at being only 90% perfect.
-
ypercube ★ at 2007-01-29
The reason for this (90% perfection) is that littlegolem is a fraqtal site!
(ease up guys…)

-
sam_nead at 2007-01-29
Suggested feature – for finished games the ranks show should be the ranks at the time of the game, not the ranks now.
Thanks for the nice website.
-
Hjallti at 2007-01-30
Sorry guys…
my apologies for overreacting…
here's why.
To me 'poorly thought' just (as non native speaker) sounded rather hard complain, but I agree it is not what is to be expected. I only wouldn't make a topic from it, and I think the phrasing is upsetting (maybe not for native speaker for which it is a standard sentence)

Thomas ★ at 2007-03-15
Minor request for fixing SGF:
In the downloaded SGF-files of Go-games there are some points one could improve:
1. it should be
PC[http://www.littlegolem.net]
and not
SO[http://www.littlegolem.com]
PC means 'place where the game was played' while SO means 'source from where the game was taken' e.g. a book. Note also the ending 'net' instead 'com'.
2. The players should be named unambiguously, by attaching their player ID or number, e.g.:
PB[Thomas (thom27)] or PB[Thomas 1400]
The number is better IMO, because the ID is no more displayed.
3. giving the time, result and players' strength (preferrably at the time when the game ended) would be nice:
e.g. DT[2006-12-19,2007-01-20] or DT[2007-02-05,03-14]
WR[2 dan] BR[5 kyu]
possible results:
RE[W+12.5] RE[B+Resign] RE[B+Time] RE[Draw]
see for details red-bean: sgf specification
-
FatPhil at 2007-03-17
In
http://www.littlegolem.net/include/base.css
font-weight is misspelt font-weigth on lines 16, 22, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38, 41.
I guess I don't need to say that it would take only 10 seconds to fix this.
-
sam_nead at 2007-03-20
Suggested addition: a way to search the database. Things to search by – type of game, date the game was played, who the players were, ranks of the players, others?
This would make studying “master-level” games easier. It would also make it easier to research current opponents.

MichaeI X at 2007-03-23
Just an idea:
No posts to the forum unless you have at least started a game.
A real challenge for spambots to deal with that…
-
-
-
MichaeI X at 2007-03-23
I considered that as well.
I tend to be polite and friendly to everybody, but a message like
“Sorry, you're not yet entitled to post here. Please read the FAQ”
is nice enough. ^_°
-
FatPhil at 2007-03-23
Perhaps you should ask hanfried_c or fraggle_c how hard it is for bots to sign up for a game.
-
Foul Ole Ron at 2007-03-23
Probably not that hard - but I doubt that spam writers would think it worth the trouble just for this site.
-
Marius Halsor at 2007-03-23
Phil, the point is that the spambots are not designed for that, and would have to be tailored in order to do so. Sure, it's an easy thing to to. It's even easier to join personally and write your spam. But id it worth it for the spambot-writers? I think not. It seems like a good idea to me.

From : Ms Anais Johnson
Abidjan, Ivory Coast

(johnson_anais002@yahoo.com)
APPEAL FOR URGENT BUSINESS ASSISTANCE.
Dearest One,
Permit me to inform you of our desire of going into business relationship with you. I am quite aware that my message will come to you as a surprise because it is indeed very strange for someone you have not met before to contact you in this regard.
I am Ms Anais Johnson the only daughter of late Chief.and Mrs. Dikko Johnson. My father was a very wealthy Coccoa merchant in Abidjan, the economic capital of Ivory coast, my father was poisoned to death by his business associates on one of their outings on a business trip .
My mother died when I was a baby and since then my father took me so special. Before the death of my father on June 2006 in a private hospital here in Abidjan he secretly called me on his bed side and told me that he has the sum of (Seven million, five hundred thousand United State Dollars).USD($7.500,000,00) left in fixed / suspense account in one of the prime bank here in Abidjan, that he used my name as his only daughter for the next of Kin in depositing of the fund. He also explained to me that it was because of this wealth that he was poisoned by his business associates. That I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where I will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose such as real estate or hotel management.
Pls, I am honourably seeking your assistance in the following ways:
(1) To provide a bank account into which this money would be transferred to.
(2) To serve as a guardian of this fund since I am only 22years.
(3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education and also to secure a resident permit in your country.
Moreover, I am willing to offer you 15% of the total sum as compensation for your effort/ input after the successful transfer of this fund into your nominated account overseas.
Furthermore, Pls indicate your options towards assisting me as I believe that this transaction would be conclude within seven (7) days you signify your interest to assist me.
Anticipating to hear from you urgently.
Thanks and God bless.
Yours Sincerely,
Anais Johnson

FatPhil at 2007-04-09
It's a miracle! Spambots have spontaneously evolved the abilities of post to sub-fora and sending personal messages. Quick - someone call the International Institute of Artificial Intelligence and publish a research paper on this!
Or some human's tailored them in order to so do.
Open your eyes, the evidence is all there.
-
Marius Halsor at 2007-04-09
No, it's no surprise that this is happening. But what do you suggest we do, Phil? Stop playing games at LG? This is just annoying, not dangerous. I have more fear of the problems you have uncovered. Hopefully, Richard will look into that soon. If you DO have any suggestions of how we should behave to reduce danger, I'd really appreciate it.
-
FatPhil at 2007-04-09
You may say “it's no surprise”, but it does exactly contradict what you said 3 posts back.
I can assure you that I have more fear of what I've discovered than almost anyone else here. We are all at the mercy of Richard, the bots, the humans that enter tournaments under 3 different nicks, and everyone else. I'm as much in danger as anyone.
I've tried to contact Richard several ways, but had no response. Most of the issues can be fixed in less time than it's taking me to compose this post. If Richard is tired of maintaining the site, then he should serious consider recruiting some assistance.
-
Marius Halsor at 2007-04-09
Yes, it can be hard to get Richards attention. I wish he was more visible at the site, too. But is there anything we can do while we wait for him to act?
Oh, and it's a detail, but a few posts back I guessed that bots wouldn't enter tournaments and play games. Sending messages and posting to forums is something I expect is rather similar on several sites, whereas playing games is just for games sites. Of course it's easy to make them do so, I just didn't think it would be worth the trouble. Are they really manually going to make separate bots for each site they are spamming? Maybe they are. I just thought not.

FatPhil at 2007-04-09
Anyone got any experience with grease-monkey scripts in Firefox/Iceweasel?
Player2 - you mentioned greasemonkey - have you written anything for it?
The only problem with us writing a greasemonkey script to sanitise pages and remove threats is that it makes the threats public, and therefore script kiddies will be able to have a field day. Currently only 3 or 4 people know the details, as far as I know.
Hmmm, I think a little bit of crypto might fix that issue…
Gotta learn greasemonkey…
-
FatPhil at 2007-04-09
See EinStein forum for my first attempt at a GreaseMonkey script (it resizes the dice as I find them too large).
Sanitising the pages looks like it requires far more l33t sk1llz than I currently have, so don't expect any miracles.

Karen, if you're a word genious, then would spell checking before you post really hurt you? It would make you a lot easier to understand.
-
FatPhil at 2007-06-04
“genious”
And what's this with “spell checking”? Personally, I'd rather something checked my spelling than my spells. It's not as if I'm a witch or anything.
-
Gregorlo at 2007-06-04
you know, in internet you cannot advice about grammer without making an error at the same time ;)

Gregorlo at 2007-06-04

Gregorlo at 2007-06-05
so is it correct to say “spelling checker” is about 50% more correct than “spell checker”? xD
-
-
-
-
Marius Halsor at 2007-06-06
True, Fat Phil. Nevertheless, “Spell checker” is something that checks your spelling, not your spells. It has become an expression meaning that, despite the fact that the “direct meaning” would be something that checks your sorcery.
-
-
MichaeI X at 2007-06-06
According to my dictionary, “spell” polysemy(?) would also include “a long spell of fine weather” or similar as a meteo term,
with “spell” being just a period of time without any witchcraft or orthography correlation.
Or do English natives see (or feel) how these meanings are related to each other?
-
Gregorlo at 2007-06-06
in linguistics, polysemy is a phenomenon in which a word acquires different meanings (as time goes by)… there is other phenomenon (“homonimia” in spanish) in which two different words evolves to the same graphy. it is not quite the same, and very often it is hard to distinguish the phenomenon give, for example, the graphy “spell” :-) hope it is clear :)
-
Dvd Avins at 2007-06-06
Michael, the spell of good wheather refers to a condition and a duration. I don't normally think of that as being magically induced, but it's not hard to see how an even more supersticious age might have made that connection.
-
MichaeI X at 2007-06-06
That's nice, Dvd. And the other meaning of “spell” is related as well?
So I can produce a long spell of good weather like this:
" G - O - O - D W - E - A - T - H - E - R " ? !
(Hope I spelled it correctly.)
I'll try to spell other things in secret and tell you the result.
Gregorio, the purpose of scientific words is that you do not need to translate them ( homonymy in English, Homonymie in German )
Is the use of spells (and/or spell checkers) allowed on LG or is it considered cheating or even UNETHICAL ( for GWG, Empathy, other games )?
-
MichaeI X at 2007-06-06
Did not work yet, so I retry, adding a little html spell :
" G - O - O - D W - E - A - T - H - E - R "

wccanard at 2007-08-23
@Joerg: I agree that an RSS feed would be great. Because we don't have one, I wrote a substitute: running on a linux machine, I have a command which every few minutes fetches the file
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/index.jsp
(using wget –load-cookies) onto my local machine, and then just greps it for the words “Your games” and then takes the number after that: that way I can see how many games I have. The script then monitors to see whether this number has changed recently, and if it has then it tells me. It wasn't hard to write at all—just a shell script of a few lines. I think that historically this was the case—before RSS there were lots of people writing lots of scripts like this to see whether their favourite web pages had been updated recently. RSS gave a uniform approach but the old approach still works :-)

wc, I am not a programmer. Couldn't you set up a server that graps the games index file and provides rss feeds? That would be cool.
-
wccanard at 2007-08-23
I'm sure someone could, but I couldn't. I'm not a programmer either. My “program” is two lines of shell script!

Maybe it is not a real bug, but now you have to make your opponent fill these false eyes or he/she will score extra points. In a real game, you would just not do that. So you may call it a feature ;-)
-
Gregorlo at 2007-08-28
in a real game he will fill the false eye with a stone of him “if he knows it is not a point”, just like here. If he thinks it is a point, why would he fill it? just like in LG :)
of course in a real game you can easily point him that this is a false eye, but that's another story…
and for what matters in Japanese Rules (at least the ones professional players use) it is compulsory to fill all the dames. Thus, the so-called “bug” is just that here the rules are not implemented as your informal way of playing. However, rules are clear at this regard: if you encircle a point with your color, that's a territory point!

Gregorio

Win Lose at “player games”: I have a game which appears as “lost”, I lost it but my opponent (Charly) has it also as lost. It's this one: http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=788332

Uh, looks impossible then, you don't want to be thinking “will it be a 6??” :)
-

it is not impossible… this a thread about suggestions and improvements. As such, they are quite possible ;)

You want to see it like when doing “back” in Einstein Würfelt Nicht ?
This is a nice feature.

NOTE THIS:
---———————————-
Game #817717 is finished.
Special vs. kpato 0:2
Game was unrated.
Both players used the same IP address.
---———————————-
Great security system.
but maybe cause some problems in the future.
special is my friend. and sometimes come to play his turns on my computer.

MichaeI X at 2008-01-04
Probably I do not understand.
I see a normally finished 4ir game (congrats kpato ;)
“Tournament: null” –> unrated.
Perhaps you should try a rated (tournament) game on the shared machine to test what happens.
-
FatPhil at 2008-01-04
Even tournament games are unrated. I don't play for points when I play RoRoRo any more. It's a shame, as I don't treat games of dvonn as seriously as I would if I were playing for points, so I'm not learning as much as I could from playing a slightly better opponent.
-
Ruben Berenguel at 2008-01-04
kpato I have some more related bugs… Myself and a friend (Charly) use computers from the university computer grid, and they ALL appear as the same IP. The one from my office and the one from the pre-doc room.
-
Gregorlo at 2008-01-04
yes, i made a move from a friend's PC and now we are considered the same IP in a game…
that's the issue when trying to avoid some cheating by IP.
Anyway, I'm fine with current system, and I will have problems very seldom :)
-
Abigail at 2008-01-04
That you're not getting points from playing your own bot is something I consider an advantage.
Of course, using IP addresses to track “uniqueness” is silly. Many people use their ISPs proxy (some ISPs will force all web traffic to go through a proxy), while many others (including potential cheaters) have more than one IP address they can use.
-
FatPhil at 2008-01-04
Abigail - “slightly better opponent” and “getting points from” are opposites from each other, if you hadn't realised.
Anyway, why should I not be permitted to play my bot for points? If you think that I would cheat in games against my bot please do not use such weasely implications - just come out and say it straight like a man.
-
Dvd Avins at 2008-01-06
It's not likely you in particular would cheat, but the temptation is there and if one could get points that way, there would be some who would so cheat.

Message: Game #814099 is finished.
Charly vs. Ruben Berenguel 5:0
Game was unrated.
Both players used the same IP address.
Tournament: soccer.rt.2007.8.408
As an example… I don't remember using the same exact computer (maybe I have been to the pre-doc room and used theirs, but I don't remember). If I didn't, then it is only looking at the first mask, as I was in my office (with my own IP) and he wasn't. Well, I lost so it's not a problem for me :)
-
MarleysGhost at 2008-01-16
Don't forget about Network Address Translation (NAT). All the computers on the same LAN typically appear to use the same IP address when viewed from the Internet.
-
Ruben Berenguel at 2008-01-17
I can acces my own computer from home, with its own IP (something like xxx.xxx.xxx for my “university” code and then my own computer's 3 digit). We are not in the same LAN, but the three first fields are (probably) the same.
-
ypercube ★ at 2008-01-18
If the first three fields are the same, you are (possibly) in the same LAN.
If your IP's start with 10.x.x.x. or 192.x.x.x then you are (probably) in a LAN and (most probably) appear to other users of the Internet and to littlegolem as having the same IP address.
-
Gregorlo at 2008-01-18
but he can access to his PC from outside :) so he can distinguish between those PCs from internet :)
