I just noticed that several championships haven't been restarted, even though the previous cycle have ended, sometimes several months ago?

QYPS championship hasn't as far I can see and the last one finished in November.

Really curious why the 37x37 Go championship has not begun. We might be waiting for the heat death of the universe to approach.

I see some championships started on April 1st but there are a few that haven't, despite that last ones have finished, some months ago:

• International Draughts
• WUPS English-8
• WYPS Numeric
• QYPS
• OSKI
• LYNGK

Also new games or variants which are newly listed in championships but no championship has ever been played:

• Shogi 3x4             (5 registered)
• Shogi 5x6             (3 registered)
• Shogi 5x6 PLUS   (3 registered)
• Tori Shogi             (3 registered)
• Go 37x37              (9 registered)

I sent a message to Richard as well for this.

I suppose 3 players does not make a proper championship so we can wait a few days for those but all the rest (Go 37, Reversi 6 and 12) and the 6 old games (International Draughts,  WYPS Numeric and English-8, QYPS, OSKI and LYNGK) should be started.

The only thing I can imagine re: 37x37 is that we have 9 players, and the minimum was set to 10.

It might be worth waiting a month - Championship #2 probably won't start until my toddler is in 1st grade.

By the way. Is it possible to remove users that are obvious scam? There's someone “thesupriyasingh” advertising escorts and not making moves, a bit annoying because makes things slow…

Richard says that the championships have not been started, as he had set a threshold of 20 players.

I see that some have 9 players registered (eg GO 37), other ones have 12, 13, 14 players.

So, what is the consensus here, guys and girls? Do we want them started, even with 9 players?

Correction: it' the English draughts/Checkers that hasn't started (the International version is ok).

Several championships started today.

Several new variants started, however in some games (like hex 11) only 1st division.

I am sorry. I must restarted championship chess960 and hex11. There was a bug and not every group started.
