Indeed, I was lost, but I played a move that muddied the waters and it lasted another 28 moves.

So my question is was the original position lost for Black, and was there any point in the ensuing moves when I had a chance?

After move 65, for me, white is really in a winning position.You had to do something on the top, you could not allow move 65.

I think I prefer the simple  62.i9j10k10 and try to do something on the bottom.

At move 62, maybe it is possible to move on the top and place on the bottom or move on the bottom and place on the top.
