There is another way to get sgf files, as minortriad site will not work for Go games:
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/png.jsp?gid=game-number will display it, for example
http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/game/png.jsp?gid=1769344 for your first go game.
Carroll, ok, but when I get the code – e.g. B[gd];W[de];B[fg...etc – how can I turn it into a sgf file?
Rbpompeu: This code is the sgf file, just unfortunately the browser isn’t told that it’s an sgf file. You can save the page as “game.sgf” for example. Alternatively, you can copy the code, paste it in an editor, and save it as “game.sgf” (but don’t save it in .rtf or .docx or .odt format or similar, save it as a raw text “.txt” file.
