Game 2147189 Daniel vs. Lazy

Quite an interesting game. It seemed to be  very close.  Congratulations Lazy !

Fatal error at 37 and was over.  Should be h2 instead f3. It's not first time when i'm wasting a winning game because i play too fast. I really like to play hex on playok (real-time), but no opponents unfortunately.

It is worth mentioning about very intresting game against kspttw (2153201) and the same: blunder at 14. g8 (should be 14.f9)

Daniel, 37 h2, 38 f4, I don't see any black win. My assessment of the game is that C2 loses.

  • lazyplayer ★ at 2020-04-16

Well, no, 38 f4 simply loses. I'm true to my nick heh. Still I think there has to be a white win somewhere. Maybe 38 e10?

  • Daniel Sepczuk at 2020-04-16

You always think you win so i don't write anymore.

  • lazyplayer ★ at 2020-04-16

Daniel, I think I win because I think c2 loses and I think I've played the best moves in that game. It's possible I'm wrong and surely it deserves more analysis. We can play another c2 game again and analyse more if you like, either in a challenge or in the next tournament. If we both think that we were winning one of us has to be wrong.

The two moves that look interesting to me are 38 e10 and 38 h4, are you sure they don't work? How much sure you're? :)

  • lazyplayer ★ at 2020-04-16

I would say that hex is a cruel game because someone has got to lose. My approach of blaming the loss on the initial stone is the most polite way to think about a loss. :)

    @Daniel Sepczuk

What does changes if you postpone g8? Are there other options in the bottom for white?

  • kspttw at 2020-04-17

    I planned to play 15.g8

  • Daniel Sepczuk at 2020-04-17

  • Daniel Sepczuk at 2020-04-17

  • kspttw at 2020-04-17

    Right, good to know, thx

If a person loses and then claims he was winning - it's great, because begins an interesting discussion.

If the person next cuts the discussion not having proven anything - this is just rude.

This is the position and I would claim it follow as such and I agree to Daniel that he probably wins, but even what I've shown is hardly enough to claim it.

Arek, I would expect something like this or a different order. Daniel is saying I'm not objective but well I try my best to be objective.
