Is it possible to differentiate the hex background from the white stones a little bit more on the app? The light grey is close enough to the white stones that it isn't always clear at a quick glance. Especially on 19x19.

Maybe it would be best to abandon the black and white version and use color for the stones. At least for the white stones use for example the blue colour ?!

I'm not opposed to red and blue as the colors for Hex, but I know a lot of people enjoy the black and white stones on the Bamboo colored background.
