i don't use computer engines. <br /> <br /> i allow paper aids (f.e. i analyse most of my amazons game on paper) <br /> <br /> not all games are equal, statistically i spend 10-15 minutes on each move in amazons (i don't play amazon anymore because of cheaters plague), 1-2 minutes in chess,5-10s in go and 15-30s in havannah.<br /> <br /> i prefer playing chess & go OTB.<br/><br/> apparently there are no opening books and no well-understood middle game strategies in amazons. i used to play chess (approx 2000-2100) and go (6k - gokgs.com)<br /> <br /> best ratings:<br/> amazons - 2006 <br /> havannah - 1849 <br /> <br/> <br/> i work at Google. <br/><br/> i live in Cracow. <br/><br/> I stopped playing games that are easy to cheat at.
