is there any way the admins of the server could consider
the idea of playing by mail? (sending moves by mail)
It is much more convenient and easy than playing from the web page....... especially for players which have a lots of games.

not everyone plays at the same time on turn-based games
its a good thing to because i play in a total of 3 different sites
and my games total over 200 games at times
it is alot of fun here and there are games sites out there that play by email but i like this just the way it is
make new friends or just find out how other ppl in the world are during that game

Tir, I don't understand at all how playing via e-mail would be more convenient. This web-based site keeps track of all of your moves, displays the current board position, automatically jumps to your next game after you make a move, allows you to look at previous board positions, allows you to view the games of other... I could go on and on. How could playing via e-mail be any more convenient?

How the hell, would you be able to tell the others guys move and the consequences, in some the games? Do you have your game board ready for all of the games on the site????

For some players it is very expensive to connect to the internet (that is my case)..... and others (i know one) have only email access.
It doesn't hurt to have the option to send the move by email. If you want to play from the web page it's just fine with me....... but you have to consider that in some countries just having a computer is a luxury.....let alone a connection to the internet.
I don't think it is that hard to implement this feature.

Please forgive me if I upset you in any way.

I don't belive u have upset anyone. In theory it is a good idea but in practice it would be a logistically be a nightmare to implement, especially were multiple game types were concerned.!

hope the best for you in your games
and have fun playing even if you are limited
i know what thats like

I think you should distinguish between turn-based servers (like LittleGolem) and e-mail-base playing. There are other organizations and servers on the net that organizes e-mail games.

What I miss is a possibility to play with a PDA. I would love to have the possibility of downloading my games to a portable device. Then go offline and make my moves and get my moves uploaded to the server next time I connect....

Can't you use the 'print Games' feature to 'print' the games to your laptop... it can solve your problem almost...
