Question: Rating tournament

I have a question about the Rating tournaments - I know it tries to put you with other people with about the same ratings ..................So what are the ranges of ratings that make up each Level .....................Take the word game for example. Currently there are Level 6 & Level 7 groups. I currently have a rating which is almost 100 higher then the next person. Does that mean if I sign up for this, my name will sit there until my rating goes down (or others catch up to me), or will it just put me in a group with people with ratings more then 100 lower then me? BBW, I'm in the same boat you are. Like you, all of my Word games are monthly cup games. I've tried a few times to register for a few rated tournament games, but my name just sits there.

Well, Ed, you are no longer 100 points behind BBW, the gap is closing. LOL. But, I have wondered about this as well.

A rated tournament "8.1" (7.22) would match up 1600-1799 (1400-1599) players. and so on... So it is always from a multiple of 200 to the next.
