Question on Word Game Championship

Currently there are 30 players signed up for Golem's Word Game Championship, that will start next week. Is there any way to see who these 30 people are? If so, I can't seem to find the page.

As far as I know, there is no way to see it.

Okay, thanks. Another question: The FAQ's state "The first 9 players play in the first league and dispute the championship." What does "the first 9 players" mean? Is it the first nine players who signed up for the championship or is it the top nine rated players for that game or what? To put it another way, what determines the league you play in?

For 1st Championship are players ordered according their rating.

Now I have another question: Can players in Group 2 of League 2 advance straight up to Group 1 of League 1, or can these player only advance to Group 1 of League 2? (If this is answered elsewhere on this site, I apologize, but I looked and I couldn't find it.)

The 2 groups in the same league are parallel... the first 2 of any group in league 6 would promote to league 5 if such a number of groups ever existed. Being in group 2 of league 2 or group 1 of league doesn't make that much different (except if the best 2nd league players would be in the same group it is better to be in the other :-) )
