why isn't this offered as a non-tournament game?
it would be fun to practice this before entering a tournament

There are some links missing, but not very vital (for instance if you go the 'games' page, the links for 4 in a row and Moku are only in the left box, and not on the page itself, which might be a bit annoying, and overlooked by some!)

Rather not... it is a nice extra distinction between the Go games and the gomoku games... you don't need to check which game you play...

The rules say it's a draw, if the game lasts 150 moves. Is that 150 moves by both sides, or just 75 moves by both sides? At 75 moves by both sides, the board is just 42% full. Seems like there could still be plenty of play left. Has any game lasted that long yet?

I will look at my IYT-archive, but I guess I played some games close to the end.
