If I am playing in a tornament, I can see it in the box. But when it's a single game... I never know if it's a Rated game or unrated. (Yes, I play both). Is there a way to know (before its end?) Thx

well..as far i remember, and i am really sure about it, they used to have a row that said whether a game is rated or unrated....but since u have mentioned this issue, i noticed that they dont anymore....

i tried many different approaches but i still can't figure out how to tell a normal rated and unrated games apart...

if any1 else does, please do tell us :D

Yes, I remember that sometimes I could read something like "Tournament: null". I don't know whether it was for Rated or Unrated. Anyway, I don't see it anymore-

Are there any rated single games? It used to be all tournaments were rated and all single games were by invitation and were unrated. Now there are also unrated tournaments, but (Correct me if I'm wrong.) all games outside of tournaments are still unrated.

Sorry, you are wrong. Just check - Waiting Room - Rated Games - or just click here and you will see what I mean.

ok...1st of all....

tournament games are rated, waiting room games are rated, and champion games are rated

THE only thing that is unrated is when u send other players invitation or u get an invitation

NOW to "Null Tournament" dukeofrunes, that got nothing with whether a game is rated or unrated

if u see....both rated and unrated games that are not under tournament games are said to be "null tournaments"

what i meant about LG having a row saying unrated/rated was actually writen "RATED" or "UNRATED".....that was long time ago...like um 10-8 months ago...

correct, except that there is a rated and a non-rated waiting room to choose from.

Non-rated, you can pick an opponent and the game starts right away.

Rated, you get in the list and once a day the server makes games from it.

I remember too that there was a way to know... I think yes it displayed it. Sad that it is gone, so you basically have remember how you started the game.

the only way is to look at your games list ('MyGames'), which may be awkward.
