Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows, or if there is a way to find out, who is playing the most games right now? Or who has played the most games in total? Or most games averaged over time on the server.

These silly stats questions interest me.

I have played exactly five years at this site (exactly to the date!) I have played 4960 games (4910 completed). That makes my average 992 games per year. I am sure that can be beat, so if you can beat that, please go ahead and post!

I have 4017 games completed, and I started here in Mid of November 2009. So my year is not yet complete. Linear forecast would be 4817 games completed when the year is over.

I'm sure this can be beat, but it's already pretty crazy - I spend 6 to 8 hours here on normal workdays, don't ask about weekends.

And hey - games lost by timing out do *not* count - not that I had any.

Wow !! Aganju, your average will be tough to beat! You are playing about five times the pace I have played, and I have played way too much (or so my lady would say !)

well it's not only quantity, it's also quality. And you are #1 in the LGMR with a galactic lead over #2. I had worked my way up to #10 last week, but this is far from your feats.

I have around 1800 in 7 months but more than half of tem are timeouts (can't find out how much exactly)

Perhaps it wouldn't be too hard to implement this server side, a game total tallier? So in one's list of games, there is a "Total" row.

OMG I have played almost 8000 games in six years. But currenly I am playing only 89 -- mostly soccer games because of CH and LCL.

~7500 in 4 years. Now at 104, I like to stay between 100 and 125.

In the same period of time, I've had over 4500 different beers.

(Which explains a lot of my ratings!)

@ FatPhil: Are you beer fan (connoisseur)? It seems like 4 500 / (4 * 365) = 3.08 different beers per day is pretty steep! Also, do you keep a log / journal on beer drinking?

I don't think he meant different brands, just different beers... once one is drunken, you need a different one to continue.

And I guess he just estimated 3/day times whatever many days. But I might be wrong with this one - maybe he keeps a log? Like divers or boat captains, the keep logs too...

Usually it is not the beer drinker who keeps the count, but his wife. ;-)

Of course I keep a log (note that it only says 4200, but I have a backlog of 200 to still type in from my last trip to the UK, and I started recording them less than 4 years ago) - otherwise I'd forget many of them (but I do have an almost idetic taste memory, so I remember things far better than the average person).

3/day's not that much on average, as I almost always buy small portions of new beers, and my girlfriend usually has half of each one.

I have played exactly 2299 games in about 5 years. I thought that I would have a lot of games, but I guess I am wrong. I bet people have had thousands more than me :)

8445 games in over 6 years but I used to play much more (sometimes I had about 300 or 400 hundred games active as I remember correctly, mostly soccer of course).

Diamante has played 14,186 games in total (most of them being Einstein) in about 5 years. I have a feeling this will be hard to beat.

So far, it seems like Aganju has the highest "games per year" score (4017 so far, and rising to an expected 4817), whereas Diamante has the highest "total games" score (14186 over 5 years). Can anyone beat these scores?

I am not close to any of these numbers, yet I have a feeling that at the peak of the Monster Final, my total "Game Load" was extremely high, due to having close to 200 games against the top players on LG. Of course, that goes for ALL finalists. (NOTE: We played over 250 games each in the final, but they were spread over time, so I doubt anyone had more than 200 Monster Finals Games going at the same time).

@Fatphil: A lot of Belgian brands?

#22 · FatPhil

@Hjallti: I should say so - http://www.ratebeer.com/user/51287/geostats/

The UK is my 'EWN' - simple, enjoyable, fun, but often quite forgettable.

Belgium is my 'Dvonn' - with real depth and complexity, and sometimes really grabbing your attention.

(Just found out that the best food shop in town now stocks Orval, Westmalle, Rochefort and Chimay. Bye-bye bank balance...)

Hmmm, too many nice things going round in my mind now - time for a pissy Russian lager to quickly halt that!

I might change my ID to 'Westvleterenman' or 'Leffeman'.

(The problem with Westvleteren is that the monks only brew the amount needed to maintain there live in the monastery which only a small part of the demand for their beer)

Just how much beer does it take to maintain a monk's life in a monastery?

For some people I can think of, it might be quite a bit.
