In my GWG against Kitkatbambidol (#12806) we have a combined score of 445.5 pts after just 5 words.! - This started me to wonder what is the present record for a combined score.! - Is it Scuttlebug v Thomas Schonn (#8057) game, which has a total of 671.5 pts.? - Or is there a higher total which i have missed.? :)

probably BBW and me would have scored higher in new rules (I didn't check) in our 499.5 game in the old rules

That would be game #2814. Under the present rules your total would be 523.5 pts. (ENLISTEE is now worth 48 pts)- A great total thats still some 148 pts adrift.!!! - Thanks.:)

Under the old rules, ScuttleBugs game would have a total pts tally of 482.5. Some 17 pts less.!!!

In game 8644 total score was 625,5. My own score was 460 making a score difference of 294,5. But highest score difference I have achieved is 299,5 in game 8060. ------------------------------------------------------------------
The value of those records are questionable however. Often the opponent will resign when too far behind and in that way take away possibilities for breaking those records.

Thanks. :) - In my original msg i mentioned ScuttleBugs game with 671.5. As coincidence, My game against Kitty will result in exactly the same score.! Thanks again 4 the replies. :)
