I don't think unique's question was answered by anyone so far.

It's hard to answer. If this were a pay site, most of the players would not be here, so I would not pay nearly as much as I would if both this were a pay site and it had all the players it does as a free (with voluntary subscription) site.

Exactly the reason why I didn't answer, thanks for writing up my thoughts, Dvd!

A similar, but different question:

What would you pay for membership without benefits?

- don't need more vacation days,

- don't want to delete your forum posts,

- don't want to create tournaments,

not because it's required,

just beause you thinks it's worth that amount for you.

(Currently, full membership is about 2 USD per month)

Do you consider this too expensive?

(1 dollar per month is still too much, but 2 cent per day for a maximum of 500 open games in parallel is ok. However I don't need 500 games ;)

What's the value of having a full screen of pure LG, without any ads

(except for WYPS ;) for you ?

Assuming the most valuable community members cannot afford paid membership, they got their laptop as a present from grandparents and get power and internet from the public for free as well. That's all ok and that's how it should be.

But I imagine Richard would invite his wife to dinner about once a month and can tell her that LittleGolem pays for it. I can clearly hear her ("Your crazy hobby, you should rather play with the children than with the computer, but I like this Little Golem somehow")

This would ensure LittleGolem's existence for the next decade, I'm sure.

BTW: it's really nearly FREE, I don't mind having the word scr i pt censored here.

I love LG, too.

oops, membership times out without warning. You really have to take care to keep LG alive ;)
