I noticed that my games have been moved back several moves. I guess it has something to do with the server being down for some time. Probably it has been restored to an earlier time, sometime around Dec 7th. All moves after that are deleted, it seems.

Apparently, the littlegolem domain was moved to a different provider today, and as a result we took a journey back in time!

I was lucky enough to get a second chance for two of my games I timed out yesterday :)

Is there a chance that the correct state is restored? So should we wait or start playing on the situation that the site is presenting now?

More precisely, my games do not seem to have been set back at all.

Anyone, please kindly advise me if there is a moral issue (or etiquette issue) that we should repeat the deleted moves, if we do remember what they were? (partly a reworded question following Mirko Rahn's)

There was a hardware problem, then I run LittleGolem on a another hardware with the one day old database. In the next week I will decide where will be LittleGolem. LittleGolem required a high-performance computer because some games (DVONN, Twixt, Hex) were created when html was not so good (or I was more stupid). In those games are generated images on server and it is time consuming. WYPS or GWG was created far better.

A game already won on the board is setback and my opponent can play differently. There are worse things in the world, but it's not the way one hopes it would be.

I have a game of minishogi with Richard where he made a different move. I do not consider this as rude or unappropriated, I will probably make different moves as well in my games. I have so many of them I cant remember all of them. I only noticed Richards new tactic because I was thinking more about what moves to make in that particular game.

Have we not seen Source Code? Of course you will stop the explosion and save the people on the train if you are given a chance.

Someone you are playing can win a game they already lost, but so might you be in the same position to do the same in another game.

Those movies are much more interesting anyway, than ones where you cannot change the outcome from travelling back in time, and your time-traveling nuclear jet air craft carrier can't prevent the war from starting again. :-)

And some games use dice. I guess it cannot be avoided that they will be different

(with another account of mine)

I made a very bad move on one of games couple days ago in D&B. Just 5 sec later after i submitted my move, i realized that it was a very bad move indeed and i had basically lost the game. At that time i was really wishing that i can have a second try to fix my mistake.

GUESS what...LG not working for couple days..I check my games today...and WOW...I Get the 2nd chance i wished for :D maybe a coincidence or just luck :P

Is it just me or has LG become very slow to load since the hardware migration?

Which makes no sense because in 20 days we would still get new vacation days. Now people can go on vacation for 40 days...
