80 game winning streak about to end

The law of averages is catching up to me. I'm finally losing a Hex game. I have been in losing positions before, but manged to weasel out somehow. There are some very strong (and underrated) new Hex players here! Well, 80 in a row is not bad. The small field of players probably had a lot to do with that. I doubt even the top players in chess or Go could manage a similar streak. ...Could they?

Now that Bill and John Tromp are here, I don't expect to be able to win anywhere near that many in a row again...

The above game was very tough. Dave says he felt positionally pressured throughout...well, I felt the same way, at several points I thought I might be losing although I now dont see a winning line for Dave. I too look forward to more games on golem in the coming year.. Cheers, Bill.
