9x9 go komi

Are there any plans to change komi to 6.5pt for 9x9 go? The more I play the more I'm convinced that 5.5pt favours black.

Japanese pros have been playing 9x9 go at 6.5pt komi for years.

Why not use komi-bidding?

A very simple (but not the only) possibility is:

One player (chosen by random) sets the komi-value
to a multiple of 1/2.
Then the other player chooses to play black or white.

(This is very similar to the method used
in the game of Hex, where a player makes the first move
and then the other chooses the color.)
