Is someone know a Internet link of a site that proposes a list of openings to the game of Gomoku?

As you may know, the Gomoku offered here on Little Golem is not Gomoku as played in the rest of the world. "Official" Gomoku has no restriction at all placed on the first player. Gomoku has been solved by computer, in fact. Serious players usually play Renju instead. Renju is Gomoku with several restrictions placed on the first player, as well as a complicated opening protocol. Here is a link for Renju: http://www.renjuclass.com/

Hi all. I have been told many times that gomoku has been solved but never actually seen such a program or a link or whatever and I also know a famous mathematician who rejects the idea that the first mover is sure to win the game even with no restrictions. Can you tell me where I can find such a program?

Anyway, renju is really a first class game for any sceptics.

Determinator, if you ask Ákos Kiszely, he will tell you exactly who the Swedish mathematician who proved that the first player has an insurmountable chance at winning the game. This can be solved only by giving the choice for the second player to switch colors at the third or fifth move.

[ sceptics=skeptics :-) ]

Frietzsche: thanks, I'll take a look.

Malaj: both "sceptics" and "skeptics" are correct spellings and as a sCeptic you should know that:-))) You are kindly referred to word games:-) Anyway, thx for the Kiszely tip.

The above URL works for me also. In fact, I see they have updated the site. Maybe there was a temporary glitch somewhere that prevented your connection.
