Vacation Confusion/I'm not receiving notifications.

I thought once your vacation time is over, the game is finished. But when I click on my profile information underneath the vacation tab, there seems to be an error in my vacations.

I don't really understand the issue based on "there seems to be an error in my vacations". What does it say under "vacation", how many days do you have left? Have you lost any games on timing out, or do you have any ongoing games that you thought you should have lost on timing out?

Let me provide some clarity. I used to receive notifications from little golem, telling me how many vacations I have, and now I'm not. That's what I mean by error in vacations.

I guess you only get those notifications when a vacation day is triggered by some game running down to zero time. Do you have ongoing games that are running down to zero, and what happens then?

I have one, but it's an invitation, and it's at 31 hours. I understand that non-members have five days per year for vacation time, and members have 30 days per year. However, when I have ongoing games that eventually run down to zero, the vacation time is exceeded for that person when they are non-members. It doesn't happen with people that I play against who are members, just non-members, which is weird.

This only happens with Hex, not any other game like Fir.

So you are talking about your opponent's vacation, not your own? You get notifications when you have another vacation day triggered, not when your opponent does.

Okay, let me show you a picture.

The picture is not visible to me. Your opponent doesn't get more time due to you letting the time run down to zero. If their time is increasing, it is because they are having vacation days triggered themselves. Now, why you are not getting notifications if you have vacation days triggered is another issue. I can't answer that (I have never used any vacation days, except one time they decided to put all monthly cup winners for each year into a new tournament, and I wasn't using the email address I had given.)

unknown player, the page you are linking to shows a different thing for every person that looks at it. I shows the viewer's own vacation days. If you want to show people what the page looks like to you, you'd have to take a screenshot, upload it somewhere else (you can't upload images directly to LG), and link to that.

So, can you check when exactly you were notified that you triggered a vacation day?

I read the first post in this thread and I'm not sure what's the issue. Your vacation days are not over, and thus you shouldn't lose by time-out until you have no more vacation days left.

What exactly is the problem you are having?

As I understand it, he is complaining now that he did not receive notifications in January when vacation days were triggered.

Anyway, we can't discard it maybe was some server problem back in January. Really hard to know now.

Hey @Greck, I signed up in August of last year and regularly check my email, including the one I used to register. After playing Little Golem, I haven't received any emails about my remaining vacation days. Specifically, the number of vacations listed under vacation time hasn't been updated or triggered since January 5th and 6th of 2024. This means that I haven't received any emails since then.
