XiangQi Rule not implemented?

Hi all - the rule book for XiangQi forbids move repetition, but since this doesn't seem to be implemented, my opponent keeps giving eternal check. I refuse out of principle to accept his repeatedly offered draw, so obviously this tournament will never end... I have tried to tell him the Rules forbid this, but it seems the chat doesn't work on this supposedly smart phone...
