I just discovered this site with lots of online games. Free. Been around for years, so probably everyone here already knows about this and I am way behind the curve. But, whatever. Here it is:

There are lots of food types that we can choose to eat. There are also lots of people whom we can befriend. Lots of cars that we can choose to drive, on and on. However, most of us (or all of us) have owned limited time, bodily health, and brain intelligence. Let us choose only beneficial ones for us.

I play more games at
Eothello.com
Itsyourturn.com
Goldtoken.com
Brettspielnetz.de (replaced jijbent.nl and yourturnmyturn.com because they were less developed forks (same internal structure))

Also played at
Brainking.com {terminating at the end of 2026}
Yucatan.de {but did not like popups}
Pocket-monkey.com (java problems has forced a rewrite)
Playok.com

Thanks for launching this topic and giving the opportunity to read the unique wisdom of our respected long time fellow player Tim Shih.
Dear Mr Tim Shih I was happy to see that you are still around. We didn't play many games but the few we had left a deep impression on me. The conversation around the games was one of the reasons. Especially a few words about the wiill of winning being in the way on the path of better play.

Hello, bennok,

My goodness! You and I did play games in 2004, which was 26 years ago. Thank you very much for having remembered me. Assume that you were 10 years old in 2004. So you are 36 years old today.

Incidentally, do you remember Herb Daughty?

I am a bit older than you assume :) No I never played with Herb Daughty. Is it a hex player?

Tim, I was reviewing your math and I believe your calculations are a bit off. From 2004 to 2026 is 22 years, not 26 years. ;-) I also played a game or two of Twixt with you. I'm glad to know that you are still around. :D

@bennok, yes, Herb Daughty introduced and taught me Hex in 1975 when I was studying at UC Berkeley. On the 19x19 board, he gave me a 4-stone handicap. Also, he was able to memorize 3.14159…. up to 200 digits. I miss him very much. :)

@Steven. ah, between 2004 and 2026, I lived in another planet where time is slightly stretched than earth time. :) Yes, we did play a few games of Twixt, and Bush is my Twixt teacher. It is nice to communicate with you again.
