Richard,

Thank you for running this site. It charges nothing, it has no ads except unobtrusive ones for itself, it has a fairly nice interface and navigability, and I enjoy the games that I play here. I'm not *entitled* to any of that.

That being said, these outages are very frustrating. If they continue, they will make me reluctant to start new games here, buecause I'll be afraid of more frustration when I have my excitement at wondering what my opponents have done dashed. I'm sure I am not alone. Some reassurance by letting us know what the plans to avoid continuing outages are would help.

Thank you.

Dvd

P.S. In case you didn't catch the details, just like the last major outage, the server was down for several hours, then was up again quite briefly, then was down for several more hours.

Until now I use webhosting and there is more virtual servers (on one computer). I plan place this server separately and buy new computer for it - generating pictures is very time consuming (hex, dvonn and rating chart).

Thanks for the info. FYI, after getting a short night sleep, I tried to get back on the server and it was down again. I guess that would be at about 20:00 CET. I don't know how long it was down while I was asleep.

If Richard decides to run his own HW we will wish him good luck. I have to admit that some of the failures are due to our errors but there were other not caused by us. I beleive that the server was running quite smoothly in last couple of months but recently there were couple of troubles that should be resolved now. If there are any further problems please don't hesitate to contact us (info@solutions.cz). Best, David

I apologize to all. Problem was in my new software module (for generating rating chart)
