In Twixt PP, are crossed links considered part of the same bridge-complex, or do the separate complexes still need to find a node (peg) in common?

Inasmuch as link crossing was implemented here to simplify the programming, I am virtually certain crossed links are not connected, as that would make win checking much more complicated for the server. I believe the chances are good that link removal will replace link crossing here, before this ever becomes an issue in any game. (I refer to game positions, not misunderstanding the rules.)

I had been interpreting it the same way as you. But Richard's statement that draws were almost impossible and that the program could tell when a position was drawn stuck in my mind. The first would be truer and the second much simpler with the other interpretation of crossed links.

Testing reveals you are right, David.
