There's a person is the second group of the April Hex Championship
that hasn't made a move in any game. The tournament started 2 1/2
weeks ago and yet he still has 240 hours left. His time limit never
seems to decrease. What's going on?

There are already some threads explaining this!

The idea is that the time limit on the game page is the one at the moment of the last move, and doesn't count down.

On your game status page it will go down anyway. Notice that player will get 20 times an extra day whenever his first moved game is timing out... so 30 days after the time out will be a fact (assuming the person only visited the site once)

This has changed now...

I have an opponent who has not moved for more than 30 days. From what I read, he should have used up his initial 240 hours, and his 20 days vacation. But the game is still going.

"Coul you send game number ?" It is game #986. I am not bothered about the game itself, I think he sent the challenge by mistake. But I am trying to understand the time control system here.

It ended this afternoon. It seems that it took 31 days in all. I would have expected 30.

Yes - I have bug in program. 21 days instead of 20 days of vacation. I will improve it.
