Something wrong !? --- Richard HELP

Something is going really wrong with the site. All of a sudden, a few minute ago, all the games that it was NOT my move dissapeared from MyGames list and the ones that are my move are not showing well (hex stones are all blue) or I am not able to move (dvonn games).

Yep, it's not just you, yper.

And you can't just type in the game number, either. That yeilds a null pointer error.

Fixed now.

And now (about 10 minutes later) everything returns to normal. Very strange indeed, Dr Watson...

Unfortunately not everything is back to normal. In game #35489 it is my opponents turn to move, not mine. Can this problem be solved?

Pandelis, our amazons game has ended, score 0:0. It was only a few moves old. You recieved 2 points in the tournament and I 0. Guess it's caused by the system error too...

This was the message header: Game #41876 is finished. klaashaas vs. ypercube says NO to WAR 0:0.

And now (even though the games list is there) no games are accessble. They open to an almost blank page which says "System has problems, sorry."

At least I guess someone's working on it. I doubt that page programmed until now.

Did you notice that we BOTH lost rating points ?

The same thing happened in game 41880 gainst Stefan Valovic. We both lost rating points, I took 2 in the tournament, he got 0 and the message said: "result 0:0". Both these amazons games ended after I made the 2nd move. I suggest we should not make any moves until Richard fixes the problems. It would be more work for him if he has to "unfinish" games also.

In game #42230, a four in a row game, my opponent got an extra turn. Can you fix this please?

It's not solved yet. I still have games where I can take a turn, while it's not my turn and the game with pandelis is still 'finished' (see the number in my post above).

I have the same problem in two reversi games against Jan C de Graaf (34683, 35599); I have an extra turn but it should be my opponent's turn to move.

in my game against phil black moved twice but that is not possible. that was in reversi game 40533. move 39 an 40.

In one of my hex games - 42212 - Red moves on both move 3 and 4, how can that be possible?

We're having the same trouble with our Hex games (42050, 42053, 42056, 42057), people are getting extra moves...

My gomoku game #37992 seems to have ended ( with a loss for me) without anyone resigning or reaching a winning position.

And one of my go moku games- 40233 - has also ended without explanation!

In my Dvonn game 41443 white has gotten 2 moves in a row.... AND now any stacks you take will get the color of your opponent instead of your own... Strategy now will be very funny....

on my game 42311 the server says it's my turn to move and it's not

on my game 42314 my opponent has had an extra move played

In some hex games my opponent moved twice. In an amazon game i had five amazons and my opponent three.. Very weird..

Maybe it is a good idea to not move at all untill all problems are fixed.

In my games 40459, 42344, 38468, 39242, 41589, 42067 things are going wrong. Also in game 40507 (gomoku), which has allready finished, my opponent moved twice and won the game.

Is it all right now ?

In #32929 the wrong player has the move.

The same in #41849. My opponent moved, but I can't because the game is still in his queue, rather than mine.

on game 42311 the server correctly says its white to play ... however I'm black and the server says is my turn

I think all my other games are OK

I don't know if this is useful, but in #41849, the game where my opponent moved and it's still in his queue, it also still shows in the list as having 14 moves. The move that my opponent made (which does show up in the moves list) is number 15.

Thank you Richard, all seems OK with my games now (I mean they are playable again -- not that I'm winning them :) -- can't you fix the games to make me win? )
