i didn't mind the ads that have been popping up recently until i saw bride.ru

yuck.

I didn't see this ad, but I certainly don't mind tasteful ads. If they support the site and motivate Richard to improve it while rewarding his effort, great.

Of course if they are ni bad taste etc. I don't want to see them...

These ads are from exchange banner system (free system for exchange banners). There is no popup windows.

Richard, May I suggest something?

Can you put static bans while we have to make the next move?

Because the animated one are the disturbing factors while playing! :((

And put the animated bans in the other pages, when the players navigate through the site?

For the time being, you can scroll down a few centimeters, so that the animated add isn't visible.

klaashaas is correct. I do not find them distracting once I have scrolled my screen to center the board. I hope that they bring some profit to all.

I find them distracting when they say things like "Prank your friends...".

If Little Golem isn't making any money off these ads (another post said it was a free banner ad exchange system), then I suggest Little Golem scrap it. Is it really generating that much traffic that it is worth it?

The ads are in poor taste, distracting, and add nothing to the site.

With some of the animated ads, if you click the 'stop' button in yuor browser they stop moving.

I find this much less distracting.
