Something odd is happenning in game 41711. It is Scot's move, but it is my clock that is ticking. It has been this way for several days I now realise. You can only prove this by looking at the game, noting the hours remaining, and then looking again an hour later.

I have checked, and found that this is happening in all of my games. Fortunately there are only three of them, but they are all in second or third rounds of monthly championships which I have a chance of winning, so it would be a pity to lose them on time without being able to move.

In all three games, I can't move because it is my opponent's move, but my clock is running and my opponent's is not.

Isn't the best thing to do in these circumstances to email Richard?

I guess it doesn't hurt to have it in the forum as well, but there are lots of threads, and unless Richard reads the right one nothing will happen,

how do you know it's your clock and not your oponent's?

Ahh I wonder if that is the problem.

The player on the top has his time on the _right_ it seems.

Perhaps Nick assumed (as would seem sensible to me) that the top players time would be on the left and bottom on the right. (So it's like reading)?

I think that's the answer, for example Scot's time is on the right (45 when I looked) and Nick's is at 240.

So, if the times are like in my games then everything is normal.

Hope this helps Nick :-p

Yes, I have looked at some other games, and Niall is right. I was confused by the way that the scores are displayed in the same order as the players, but the times are listed in the opposite order.

Might it be a good idea if this could either be changed, or mentioned in the FAQ?
