The hard thing about turn-based gaming is that you forget your plan in a game when you don't see the game for a few days.

Thanks for adding this new 'personal notice'. Another great feature!

Aha! What a great idea!

Nice features are great :-)

Yes, it is more convenient to write out a variation here, rather than fire up a game database program such as Jhex or Jtwixt and record the moves there. Thanks Richard! I just hope I don't space out and send my notes in a message to my opponent! :-)

the only thing wrong about it is that you have to submit it before you make you move, so if you write it down and you make you move and then you see it is wrong you have to rewrite it again.

better would be if it would come up at the same time as the chat box.

David, feel free to accidently let your notes slip to me.

Daniel:

That depends on your browser. The Opera browser, for example, keeps the text in an edit-box when you use the back-button. I think IE reloads the page again from the server and thus clears the edit box (and makes you write the note again).

Ahh, thanks for saving me the time Daniel :-)

It's surprising to me that Opera doesn't 'feel the need' to reload the pages. Doesn't this mess up Little Golem knowing what to do when you click again?

Funny... It works for me. Also, when I use the back button in IE, I often get a page error. When I'm doing that in Opera, no error appears. It just shows my what I asked for: the previous page (the way I last saw it, so with contents of the edit boxes).

I don't see how using your back button can mess up the server.
