- not really. I mean, yes, he is normally better, so it was an offset, but my rating is far off. I'm really bad at the full-size Shogi, and lose a lot (and get frustrated and just resign because I really begin to hate the game). That resulted in my rating going down to 16xx. A while ago, I played mainly Mini-Shogi, and my rating was 1860+. I think with only Mini-Shogi, I could be above 1900.

It's the old issue, those are two different games, and they get mingled in one rating.

Aganju: Yeah I get what you are saying. I really wish they would make mini shogi into a full game on the site since it would mean monthly cup. I don't play as much mini shogi as I would like at the moment. In hex they have monthly cups for 19x19 and 13x13 so I don't see why not for shogi since they are more different games imo.
