New shogi talent?

Seems like there is a new kid in town. Ruroni has done incredibly well. Check out this tournament table:

http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/tournament/tournament.jsp?trnid=ut.shogi.538.1.1

among other things, he managed to beat takadori (who I think is considered the best shogi player on the site) in 2 out of 2 games. Granted, it was in mini shogi, but as far as I know, takadori has also won the last couple of championsships in that.

Who is this new mysterious player? And do you think his talents extend into regular shogi as well?

takadori can actually lose?

Ruroni plays both Shogi and mini-Shogi on Brainking too, assuming it is the same person... and judging by their ratings there, are quite good at regular Shogi as well.

Yeah, I invited him to play in this site as well.

Ah, great. Always nice with new competition :)
