What is your estimation of winning chances for red for every available move? My bot played 6 to left square, which seems so stupid. Am I missing something and it is really the best move, or there is something to fix in the code?

And his estimates are:

1. up: 48,5%
   
2. diagonally: 49,5%
   
3. left: 52,0%

To me these percentages are correct, but for blue instead of red... ;)

my perfect solver gives the following winning probabilities for red:

up: 50.806%

diagonally: 50.572%

left: 44.181%

Based on this, up is the best choice in the given position.

Thanks jano, your estimations are in line with my intuition. It seems that my bot has some limitations :D
