empathy bug?

ok, maybe i'm stupid, and i totally screwed it, but i'm almost completely sure that i've posted 10 words in the last empathy games (parts of the face), but the detailed results only shows 7 words.

Can it be a bug, or i simply don't know the rules?

Are you sure to remember the "10 words were accepted" response to your last post ?

There once was a bug that you could get 0 points for an entry (as seen in the "past games", even if it was accepted initially.

i can't remember the accepted message, but i remember my first word was 'lips', which isn't in the past games list, only 7 words are highlighted for me.

Sometime plural arn't highlighted, but are counted. You have to look in 'Past games' to see real score.

yeah, that was the case. some of the plurals weren't highlighted. in the past games list it's correctly listed.

Well, at least that really is a bug. We have just got used to it.

LG is just like life... you just get used to bugs, then it ends :P

A similar bug happened to me again - in the last game I'm 100% sure I wrote the word "grass" (as the first one), I submitted it and I got the "10 words were accepted" message. And now it isn't counted. Any ideas why?

have you entered "past games" to check which words were accepted and how many points you were awarded for each?

'Past games' page is very big, and it take a long time to open, but with good connection it finaly open for me. With opera mini on mobile phone I can't open it.

As most (35/40) others I also entered "grass" and it's not highlighted for me, but counted.

Perhaps someone of those 35 entered "gras" and LG knows the others just used its plural form ?

Past games works for me, and grass is there, But the points are ok, so no problem :)

Strangely enough, Empathy keeper doesn't recognize feet as the plural for foot: if you try to play 'em both, they will be acepted - I made the test during the "look down" game, undoing it just after I've seen it was accepted. Probably the same would happen with tooth and teeth.

As discussed before; the code is rather simple, and just considers an 's' at the end a plural. So feets would be consider the plural of feet, and footsthe plural of foot. And grass the plural of gras, plus the plural of plu, and piss the plural of pis. I think you get it.

GoE knows some irregular plurals, too, e.g. man/men. But its list of irregular plurals is not comprehensive.

@Aganju: As a result, you can't play a and as at the same game, nor as and ass.

But you can play a and ass :)
