Here is the current position from French WYPS:

[game;id:1303787;move:35]

Neither player are connected and there are no more possible words. Since there are no apparent option for a draw, it looks like I will need to resign or lose on time. If it is the case, it should at least be added in the rules that being unable to play even if the opponent is not connected results in a loss.

I think this should be a draw though, as neither player achieved their goal.

I agree this should be a draw.

As for the solution,

should the players be able to agree on a draw at any time, as in chess?

Should the LG software declare a draw when it detects that no more words can be formed (sounds like a lot of CPU cycles) and neither player connects three sides?

Should the initial supply of letters be larger? Is there any way to determine whether a particular initial set of letters precludes a draw?

Wait a minute. Isn't the placement of a single tile always allowed, whether or not it forms a word? If not, that's another possible solution.

Oh, I never realized you could place a single tile. Well that solves the problem quite nicely.

I guess placing a single tile is not "always" allowed, but it is allowed as long as your opponent does not have a 3-side connection.

It is clear white victory, and well deserved if he realized it was a victory!
